I officially created a leave-behind to send to companies and give out to people. Leave-behinds are like business cards. I just have to get them professionally printed. I'll probably make a few more versions as I get more work (and this one needs some more editing I think). But for now, this is what I'll do.

This is my first oil painting of the semester. It was supposed to be a slight abstract view of a still life and painted with only white, black and ochre.

This is my scratchboard assignment for Illustration Media. It's being worked on still. Hence so much black. The portrait is of a character from Battlestar Galactica, Admiral Adama. I'm not obsessed with the man or the show, but his face just seemed to be crying out for a portrait. He just has one of those faces you really want to draw when you see it.

From Junior to Senior year of highschool, I attended the South Carolina Governor's School for the Arts and Humanities as a Visual Artist. In my senior year, I chose a concentration in printmaking. While there, I took courses in Graphic Design, Metals, Printmaking, Figure Drawing, Figure Sculpture, Sculpture, Painting (acrylic and oil), Observational Drawing and Photography.

These are all works I did in Precollege. The first was an Illustration assignment where we were to create a character that was half human, half person. It was to be inked and water colored.
The second is a water color portrait, also an Illustration assignment.
The last two are figure drawings. The set of four were all short poses, where the model decided how long to pose for. All between 20 seconds and two minutes. The last figure drawing was a reclining model for about ten minutes.

This is an image that I did in Illustration class when I attended Ringling College of Art and Design's precollege program in 2007. It was my first time working with watercolor. The assignment was to do a 'fish' or underwater dwelling creature with pen and ink and add water color the further along we got.
